Unused and Unloved

 

The exhibition ‘Unused and Unloved’, curated by PrettyvacanT Dublin is running Tues – Fri (12 noon – 5.30pm) until 11 Nov. 2011, in Fumbally Court, Dublin 8 (off New St.).

 

Unused and Unloved’ is brought to you in association with Fumbally Exchange and is part of Innovation Dublin 2011. The exhibition explores concepts of neglect, abandonment or disuse, featuring haunting images of Chernobyl, an exploration of Ireland’s faded religious icons, and also an interactive Smartphone Gallery.

PrettyvacanT Dublin aim’s to repurpose vacant Dublin properties as temporary exhibition spaces for artists, make the properties more aesthetically appealing and facilitate artists by bringing their work to a wider audience.
