On the 26th September 2012 Minister for Health James Reilly TD has opened a new hub for sole traders and small businesses in North County Dublin – Fumbally Exchange Balbriggan
Through the leadership of Balbriggan Enterprise Development Group, Fumbally Exchange Balbriggan was set up in Railway Street. It is a new centre of design and innovation that will inject a creative energy into business regeneration and urban renewal in Balbriggan at a time of great challenges and volatility in the country.
Fumbally Exchange Balbriggan it is the first Exchange set up outside of the original office location in Dublin 8 and would be set up along the same space-sharing, collaborative environment and co-operative principles as the original on Fumbally Lane.
This fantastic initiative would not have come about, but for the support and funding from Balbriggan Town Council, Balbriggan Enterprise Development Group (BEDG), Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce and Fingal County Enterprise Board.
