On 8th July 2011, Fumbally Exchange was among 10 successful social entrepreneur projects selected as award-winners of the Arthur Guinness Fund.
The Arthur Guinness Fund provides mentoring, practical support and expertise along with distributing a financial investment totalling €650,000 over the next two years.
Established in 2009 to mark 250 years of Guinness, the Arthur Guinness Fund is an innovative investment vehicle set up to further the philanthropic legacy of Arthur Guinness. It supports social entrepreneurs around the world, acting as a springboard for further developing innovative and entrepreneurial social initiatives and taking them to the next level.
George Boyle, the founder of Fumbally Exchange said, "The recognition of our project by the Arthur Guinness Fund has acknowledged the rich latent potential in the Fumbally Exchange. We are thrilled to have been selected to go forward in this partnership.
